The INT Amateur Tour will make a stop at Lake Arrowhead on August 14 for
a one-day Wakeboard competition. The INT League is a grass-roots amateur competition program designed to get people of all skill levels and ages involved
in water sports competitions, to promote family fun on the water and water
sports safety for everyone. Thousands of people participate in INT events each
summer – some going on to successful careers as professional water skiers and
wakeboarders.
Participation in an INT event is a wonderful way to get people involved in competitions – and the great thing about INT is that all skill levels are welcome.
“The Entro division is for beginner riders who may only be able to wave to
the judges and fix their board shorts. When you move up through Novice,
Intermediate and up to the Expert, you see riders of increasing skill,” explains
INT’s Georgia Coordinator, Mike Carnahan. “What you see in the Outlaw and
Pro divisions are the people who can do the big air tricks and really entertain
the crowd. It promises to be fun for everyone whether they are participating
or just watching.”

the website. Choose the competition division that best suits your skill level. Finally,
register for any tournaments in and around Georgia. You can accumulate
points at each event – and the winners in each division state-wide have the
opportunity to participate in a National Championship in Florida this fall.
Be sure to join us for the fun on August 14 – come out and watch, bring a picnic
– it will be a great day on Lake Arrowhead.
Want to be a Part of the Fun? The INT Tour is a volunteer based organization - owing much of our success to the help of dedicated tour team members and volunteers who help set up and tear down the event, volunteer in the registrati
on booth, announce, judge, record for wakeboarding, handle rope in the boats, drive and clean up boats aft er the events (all sounds glamorous, doesn’t it!). By empowering our volunteer force, INT is able to keep registration fees down and continue to host events. House. Fireworks will be launched from the shoreline near Clearwater Park

NINE-N-DINE
Nine-N-Dine consists of nine holes of golf followed by dinner at the Highlands Grill. This Golf/Social event is played on Friday evenings beginning at 5pm. Our second event is Friday, July 30 followed by events on August 27 & September 24. The cost is $35 per couple plus applicable golf fees. It is open to LA Golf Members, Community Residents and Non-Residents.

Five Week Series of clinics featuring instruction on full swing, chipping, pitching, putting and bunker play. Saturdays, 5:00pm to 6:00pm at The Highlands Course. Clinic schedule: July 31 & August 28. Clinics are complimentary for Lake Arrowhead Golf Members only.

POKER HAND REGATTA
Our next regatta will be Sunday, July 18th starting at 2pm. We’ll convene at the Boat House for the game rules and to receive the fi rst card of your hand. From there, we’ll
proceed around the lake collecti ng cards to see who can make the best poker hand. You can participate on your own personal vessel or one of ours. It doesn’t matter if it’s a kayak, pontoon, or a sailboat, all vessels are welcome! Vessel returning with the winning hand will receive an award certificate! ADULT TENNIS BEGINNER CLINIC
Saturdays 10am to 11am (begins Saturday August 7th)
Learn the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and relaxed atmosphere at the Lake Arrowhead Tennis facility. This 5 week session is open to all adults interested in learning the game, or just wanting to brush up on their basic stroke mechanics. The clinic will cover swing progressions for all shots including forehand, backhand, volley, overhead and serve. Classes will be taught by one of the 6 certified BridgeMill Tennis Club Professionals. All exterior work must be approved by the Lake Arrowhead Architectural Committee which meets Wednesday mornings. Forms are available in the Membership Office or online at www.lakearrowheadclub.net. Please provide

PROPANE TANK FENCING
Propane tanks in Lake Arrowhead must be fenced or buried underground. In Phase II tanks must be buried, without excepti on. New fence design guidelines are available to help property owners construct fencing around the propane tank. You may download the design guidelines at www.lakearrowheadclub.net.
BOAT DECALS Boat decals can be picked up from the Main Office, located upstairs from the Pro Shop or at the South Gate. Boat Registration Form must be completed and proof of insurance provided before decals will be issued. All accounts must be in good standing.
2010 BOAT REGISTRATION FEES
Non Motorized $20, Motorized $50, Trailer $20
Impromptu Lake patrols will begin in April to identify those boats not yet registered for 2010. Boats identified without 2010 decals are in violation and will be subject to removal from the lake.
RESIDENT GUESTS All resident guests (renters) must submit a copy of the lease to the membership office and pay a guest fee of $25 to receive ID cards.
