Donna Little, a professor at Reinhardt University, will lead a hike on the Ridge Trail. She will educate and lead a discussion on the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) Camp on Pine Log Mountain. Established in 1933, the corps's objective was to recruit unemployed young men for forestry, erosion control, flood prevention, and parks development. Join us for this 1.2 mile intemediate-level hike to learn more about this Franklin D Roosevelt New Deal program.
